Sutra means thread. It is an important and profound approach to communication which attempts to convey the complexity and marvel of nature, perception and practice, within the unconscious language of art and symboliosm. Spiritual poetry, as a medium of expression and communication emerges out of these origins.

A wealth of poetry authored by Derek Thorne exists in YogaLiving and is called upon during meetings and events.The poetry is not preoccupied with the richness of imagery for poetry’s sake but is more concerned with the passion of the seeker and clarifying perception.
